Tropical Winds Oceanfront Hotel

The rooms were actually pretty nice, very peaceful and safe but the staff needs to make sure kitchen has everything the can opener was broke and I went to front desk and they tried to give me a wine bottle opener🤣I wanted to open a can not a wine bottle! The cafe breakfast was disgusting and I can’t believe they charge you for everything like I ordered pancakes and she charged me 25 cent for the syrup and 25 cent for the butter, I can’t believe the expected me to eat pancakes without syrup and butter unless I paid for it and they charged 25 cent for a cup and also for the silverware that was soooo ridiculous and everything was microwave food microwave bacon not real bacon the eggs I don’t know what to say that place was not good!!! But besides the cafe the stay was good!!! I would stay a

Positive: balcony view. pet friendly Negative: yes it was a non smoking hotel but the whole hotel smelled like marijuana.

Tropical Winds Resort – Daytona Beach Review We recently stayed at Tropical Winds Resort and had a very interesting experience. Upon walking into the hotel Friday night, the entrance and hallways looked dated and in need of updating. However, once inside the rooms, you can definitely see that improvements have been made. Our first night, we were assigned a room on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, the room keys did not work initially, and the shower knob had to be pulled out with extreme effort just to turn it on. After extending our stay, we were reassigned for the second night to a room on the 5th floor with a beautiful ocean view (pictures attached). This was my second time staying at this hotel, and it definitely will not be my last! The room was extremely clean and well-maintained, and the views from my room were absolutely amazing. Both pools were beautiful and made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially want to recognize Jackie at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing. We had such a genuine conversation, shared laughs, and she truly made my entire experience even better. It’s rare to meet someone who goes beyond just doing their job she made me feel welcomed and valued. The rest of the front desk staff were also wonderful and professional. Overall, this stay reminded me why I chose to come back a second time and I will definitely be making it a third. Highly recommend!

Our room wasnt ready until after 5, but Rooms are decent, spacious, and comfy. Attendants were pleasant and helpful. We were able to use the pool, cafe, n beach access while waiting for the late check in which was pretty much all day because we got there at 1030a.m. not a lot of hotels allow that n Its close to the boardwalk so we had plenty to do n had a great day while waiting.
