Golden Magnolia Marine Resort

We had a lovely stay here for a short weekend trip. Absolutely adored the house, it was elegant and full of interesting historical decorations. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable. We were offered a glass of wine once we checked in which was a relaxing way to start our stay. The breakfast was delicious, we sat outside on the porch and the weather was perfect. You can see the marina from there. The owner Marina was lovely and so welcoming, we enjoyed getting to know her and hear the history behind the house. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a good time at the Golden Magnolia Marine Resort for Thanksgiving celebration. We had a wonderful time! Beautiful company, decorations and table settings……food was delicious. Service was great. We definitely would like to come back and recommend this place for other holiday celebrations. My mom and I went on a trip for a few days and we loved our stay at Golden Magnolia Marine Resort. The resort is located to many shops that are a short walk and the ocean is about a 20 minutes walk which makes everything very accessible. The history of the building makes it so unique as well. The rooms were very cozy and the beds were very comfortable, especially the one we slept on. Along with that the breakfast they offer is not only delicious, but definitely fills you up for most of the day. We loved our visit and would definitely recommend someone visit next time they are in Daytona Beach.

“Golden Magnolia marine” in Daytona Beach is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. This is an unusual hotel museum with antique furniture and accessories, a collection of hats, and, of course, excellent staff. We were greeted very warmly and like family, and all issues were resolved, Marina gave us a tour of the hotel and her friendliness was terrific. Breakfast is delicious, fresh, nicely presented, and nothing like bad breakfasts elsewhere. I recommend going there and I will come back.

Good news first, Ashley is great, so caring and personable. A man gave us beverages and was very caring. The location is great, near shops and the Chart House. The marina is lovely. The bad news, we made a reservation and paid in December. Apparently the place was sold and so we had no reservation or beautiful room with a balcony when we arrived. The new owner gave up his own tiny room to make it right. However, we could not check in for hours. This made us late for the event and we had to walk almost 2 miles from the parking lot. Then 2 miles back. We were very appreciative and understanding considering this was not the new owners fault. The bad news, there is no cooked to order breakfast that we looked forward to, based on the reviews. Someone tried to enter our room twice during the nig
