Tropic Shores Resort

We've been owners since the it's. They keep the property up, great staff, we had some plumbing issues. Brought it to their attention & was addressed swiftly. Overall, we always have a great time. Love the ocean front views, pool & hot tub!

We booked this exchange week to utilize points we had left over in our account, so it was use them or lose them. We opted for a local to us resort for convenience and limited drive time. We arrived early due to a prior commitment to attend a retirement party two hours away from the resort, so we could check in and then depart to attend the party. We were accommodated with an early check in of about 1-1/2 hours which met our needs. Our 1-bedroom/bath unit was on the smaller side of recent resort stays, but all units are ocean facing with a balcony. The unit was comfortable and suitable for a couple. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient to dining and shopping. Daytona Beach Shores is south of Daytona Beach by a few miles, which is a bit quieter and less hectic than the area around the C

This resort is right on the beach. Perfect location and great amenities. There is a wonderful pool and hot tub area with lots of seating. Resort offers chairs and umbrellas for use with a low weekly fee. Well worth the nominal cost. There are a variety of activities offered throughout the week.

This is an outstanding resort right on the beach. All units are oceanfront with a balcony. The resort is older, but very well maintained and what really stood out is the staff. From the front desk (Eileen-the best) to housekeeping, all of them are helpful, professional and happy. Every morning during sunrise you can watch the staff cleaning the pool & spa area to include the steps to the ocean. Pickleball courts are public and busy. The people playing were all very good and welcoming. There is a 3 par golf course are right next to the pickleball courts along with public clay tennis courts. This was our first stay at this resort, and we were very happy with every aspect. It's in a great location, every unit has a balcony that faces the beach, the unit was a perfect size for the two of us, was very clean and well maintained, and it didn't feel dated at all. Everything was very comfortable.
