Trophy Mountain Lodge and Weddings

Great comfortable getaway place tucked into the side of a beautiful mountain with all that nature has to offer. The owners are wonderful sweet people, friendly and caring. Definitely worth checking out! Surrounded by woods the lodge feels like it's "away from the rest of the world" even though it's only a few minutes from town. Strongly recommend a stay!

Our nephew got married there and invited us. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of stuff to keep us entertained. The place was very clean, very secluded and very spacious.

Roger and his staff are the very, very best -- so accommodating and helpful that it's almost hard to describe. We've now had two events there, one that didn't involve an overnight stay, but DID entail a half-day bird hunt with several hunters, and another that included a large group with several night's stay, but no hunting. Both were 100% successful, fun, restful, and so incredibly appreciative for the amazing facility, and gracious staff. We couldn't recommend them more highly.

It's a beautiful place to have any type of event.

My wife's side of the family chose Trophy Mountain Lodge as the gathering place for her grandparents 50th anniversary, which also happened to fall on Mother's Day Weekend. A total of 9 families would come together here to celebrate from Friday through Sunday. I was initially skeptical going to a cabin as I am not a big fan of camping. Also, having 9 families out here, where would we all sleep? After the 4 hour drive from Richmond, we finally arrived on Friday. To my surprise, the cabin was massive (see photos above.) The cabin is 2 full stories plus a loft area which has two separate rooms and bunks. There are 7 bedrooms on the bottom floor as well as 2 on the first. As you can see, there is no issue with space.
