Travelodge by Wyndham Whittier

Checking in was quick and simple. The lady at the front was quick and ready to serve us. Parking is a bit tight. There’s room in the back. The room was very spacious. The TV does have good films to watch. A few small things here and there. But everything was good. My room wasn’t cleaned. Not sure if I needed to request it or they didn’t bother to do so. Overall no problems here. Thank you.

So this place has the brand name but it definitely is on the bottom tier of the brand. Check in is easy and staff is easy to deal with but the rooms… floor was dirty and sticky. It was not mopped. Blankets had a little stain here and there. Restroom wasn’t restocked, there was no toilet paper. The door to the shower was broken only opened enough to literally still have to squeeze thru. The room itself is fine but they need to work on actually cleaning the rooms and keeping up with the fixtures. It an easy access type of motel. If your looking for a simple whatever type of place you’ll be fine, but it’s not for the high maintenance.

Positive: It was a place to stay while in town. Negative: They were not able to accommodate my elder mother who has disabled knees with a 1st floor room. Also, they do not offer at least coffee. For this being a travelodge you would think they would offer coffee. The parking is horrendous.

1/5 stars Do not stay here. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed as soon as we walked in. The refrigerator had stains and debris on it, and the light switch at the entrance was visibly dirty—with bugs crawling on it. The bed sheets had yellow stains, and the mattress had visible blood stains that looked like signs of bed bugs. Overall, the room was filthy and clearly not properly cleaned. The outside of the property also looks run-down and uninviting, which matched the condition of the room. When we asked for a refund because of the condition, we were only given half back. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional and even threatened to call the police just because we were asking for our money back. Photos online do not reflect reality at all. it was disgusting. not only did the jacuzzi rooms water pipe spilling all over the room, the water took forever to fill the tub up. the bed sheets were DISGUSTING. had stains all over them. we asked for towels. no one ever showed. we went to ask for towels & per usual don’t wanna give any out because “ people steal towels” , it was t terrible couldn’t even sleep probably the bed smelled like sweat left immediately @7am sharp. never again
