Tranquil Oaks Cabin

We chose this cabin because it was rated five stars by every previous guest, and we were looking for a quiet place to relax, disconnect, and breathe for a couple nights. Unfortunately, that never happened. The cabin is honestly clean and nice overall, and it looks just like the photos. That needs to be said. However, for the price and the added cleaning fee, some things simply should not have happened. Before arrival, I specifically asked for exterior photos so I would know what I was looking for and what the surroundings were like. I was told that exterior photos are not shared to “maintain privacy and exclusivity,” and was reassured that the surroundings were peaceful, wooded, and full of natural charm. My wife and I spent a couple days here for a little get away for our anniversary in October 2023. We met the owners at their home and had to drive about 6 miles to the cabin. The cabin needs some updating but was cozy. It had tv and internet and all you would need for your stay. You have to drive about 18 miles one way to get food or entertainment. Better read your rental contract because they will charge you $30.00 if you don't take your sheets and towels and leave them at the door. Since I have never had to do this at any cabin we have ever stayed at it would have been nice to be told that when they gave us the key.

My friends and I decided we wanted a girl's weekend and tranquil oaks became our destination. We headed out to the cabin around mid-fall the 3 of us were greeted by Angela and we knew immediately we were where we needed to be. She gave us a tour of the ranch and we got see and meet the many rescue animals on the ranch. All 3 of us being rescuer's ourselves, she had our heart's. The cabin was beautiful. We felt at home. The cabin was clean and we had a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and a huge living room with a front porch with a Walk out porch on the second floor. I myself hadn't been camping for many years and I've never had a better camping experience. I know this is a long review but so much was great it takes a lot to say. Let's just say that I wouldn't want to have a good time anywhere else

Stayed here for a girls weekend in Oct 2021. This place is AMAZING! It's beautiful inside and out and the scenery and ambiance the cabin gives just says "Come on in, grab a drink, sit down and relax". To say we enjoyed and had a blast is an understatement! It's more than spacious and has everything you could need and then some. Angela and Jeff had poured their heart and souls into creating this wonderful place. Their hospitality and easy to conversate with made the stay that much more memorable. We are planning a spring and more than likely fall girls trips back and I think a couple of us are planning weekend get-a-ways with our husbands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!
