TownePlace Suites by Marriott Monrovia

This is a fantastic Marriott hotel! The site is essentially new and the rooms are stellar. Very spacious as one would expect from a Townplace Suites. Very modern decor and very comfy couches and beds. Breakfast is free and very good with typical morning staples. Love that they had scrambled eggs available every day for my week-long stay! Friendly and courteous staff were awesome. Flavored water at the front desk was awesome to fill my water bottle every day before my work day. Highly recommend this hotel for the above mentioned and the great location in the Pasadena/Arcadia/Monrovia area. Can’t go wrong!!!

I run a business locally and we regularly send dozens of people to Monrovia. I decided to try this hotel for a change, as it actually has a kitchen area unlike the other main options down the street, but unfortunately the experience has been disappointing from start to finish.||The front desk staff are pleasant, but that’s where the positives end.||Room Issues, my first room had a constant, loud rattle in the wall which they thought was a lose pipe, so I had to request a move. Fair enough, things happen. But the process made no sense. To move literally across the hallway on the same floor, I was told to pack two suitcases, bring them all the way down to reception, exchange keys, and then go right back up to the same corridor. This hotel could alway keep good cleanless and services as expected. Even though parking need to pay on $12/night but fair price. Breakfast not that rich but just good enough. I will keep staying at this hotel when travelling in LA.

I’m so disappointed in this place every time we come here we have complications on our billing last night. They charged me double the price for staying at this hotel. I prepaid this hotel in February 22 for $181.83 then when I got to the hotel, they charged me again for the same amount the hotel manager his name is Ty. He told me that it must be a glitch in the system, but last night Brian and Ty were the only ones that I gave my credit card to and they told me that it would just be a security hold on my card, but when I woke up this morning, I see a charge for $181.83 on my American Express card for a second charge he told me that it must be a glitch in the system and after a prepaid booking is already charged they won’t charge it again but last night I gave my card to Brian and to Ty at

A5 star review for Kim who provides the delicious morning breakfast at Towne Place Suites. She is professional, efficient and friendly. A 5 star review for the front desk staff. They were efficient, professional and helpful. A two star review for the house keeping staff and Wifi. The house keeping staff brought towels only twice during our 10 day stay. The Wifi service was very weak.
