TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Meade National Business Park

HORRIBLE customer service. Titanium Elite member and wanted to add my wife’s name to the reservation. Gave me several stupid reasons why they couldn’t do it over the phone. I stay HUNDREDS of nights a year at Marriotts and have NEVER had this problem. Take care of the people who are loyal to your brand or they’ll go elsewhere!

I was very surprised at how nice this little Townplace Suites was. It has obviously been recently renovated throughout and felt clean and modern. The staff were nice, and even the breakfast wasn't bad, in an era where most free hotel breakfasts are inedible. This hotel had a small, modern gym, and was quiet for my whole stay. In the summer months there is an outdoor pool but it was of course not open in April. Finally, there is an outdoor grill area for the warmer months. Looking forward to staying again.

This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in this price range. The room was well appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable. Even the supplied toiletries were first class. The breakfast was very good, although the scrambled eggs were too salty. All in all, we will definitely stay here again when we are next in the area.

I stayed here a few times. It’s ok. It’s a little rundown and trashy. It appears some people are living in this hotel. The courtyard down the street is a lot nicer.

I am editing this review after having the breakfast the next morning and realizing this place is 5 stars rather than 4 because of the amazing breakfast that was better than any Fairfield or SpringHill Suites we have stayed. This breakfast buffet had virtually everything you could want and even had two waffle makers. We both had the egg, ham and Gouda cheese croissant sandwich which was excellent and hot. Of course they also had hot scrambled eggs and bacon and really anything else you could ever want for breakfast and everything was clean and presented very well. They also had two high end stainless steel gas grills right outside the breakfast room if you wanted to barbecue a steak or something else. We also loved the bigger refrigerator that had a real freezer and oven in the room.
