TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dubuque Downtown

We had a suite on the 3rd floor. The elevator was fast & always available. Checkout was noon!! 🤩 The room was spotless & well appointed. We had everything we needed in the room, & the bed was comfy. There was a thermostat, so the heater turned off & on all night, which was difficult to sleep to since it was kind of noisy. I prefer one with a fan option so it could be a 'white noise' for sleeping. We could hear footsteps from the room above us, but overall, it was pretty quiet. A bit of noise in the hall but nothing really loud or very late. We'd stay there again, but we'd ask for a top floor room. Walking distance to incredible restaurants & coffee shops!

Stayed at this TownePlace for 13 nights. Only had room service twice, had to ask for towels 3 times because they would not even change out my towels. I’m a Lifetime Platinum holder ,over 600 nights and have never stayed at a worse Marriott. I should have known when I checked in around midnight and the desk guy in street clothes was sleeping in the back and the maintenance man had to wake him up. If I could give it Negative stars I would!

This hotel is great. The GM Theresa does a great job of running the ship, and the staff do a wonderful job keeping the place clean, well stocked with food during breakfast, and always friendly! The location is perfect - 1 block away from my favourite restaurant Brazen. The rooms are well designed and whenever the renovations were done they look fantastic. Our bathroom was truly wonderful with a nice bright white tile huge shower. The King Bed Studio is wonderful for 1-2 people for any period of stay. There is a compact desk/table that can be rolled out for dinner or work, and the space is very well designed. It offers a great level of functionality without sacrificing space or comfort. If I am ever back in Dubuque again I will most definitely be staying here and telling anyone I know passi

Stayed 7 nights in the suite! Can't say enough good about it, the front desk staff was awesome! Breakfast every morning was good and the hotel/lobby itself was perfect with a nice fire table out front. Great brewery and a pizza place right across the street! We slept with the window slightly open so we could hear the train horn, closing the window and using the complimentary earplugs would have remedied that LoL
