TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clinton

I had the opportunity to stay at this location last weekend. I usually lodge with a competitor, however after reading the reviews of formers guests as it pertains to customer service, I decided not to. Businesses have the opportunity to make a first impression once. It is the prelude to your stay/experience. Towne Place Suites offered great customer service. I interacted with 3 front desk employees who were all very kind and professional. The bed was very comfortable. I read the reviews of this location prior to booking. While some complain of other guests talking in the hallway, my perspective is, you cannot fault the location for a random inconsiderate personal talking in the hall. I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here recently for a wedding taking place nearby. Front staff was very good and efficient. Room is excellent - modern, clean, comfortable beds - overall very, very nice. We had an excellent stay - recommend highly.

Positive: House keeping did a great kept my room immaculate. Negative: Breakfast options could use a “leveling up”. The staff was very polite and helpful

I drive a $1.5 million motorhome. I inquired about parking at the front desk when I arrived, just like any other Marriott property. They were very accommodating until a manager showed up. Four hours later, a manager said they do not have truck parking. I pointed out. I was in a bus and inquired if it was OK and told yes. Long story short they are not accommodating at all and are very rude.

We like this hotel (3rd stay)! It's a great place to break up the drive from western NC to Maine. Easy access from I-78. Well laid out common areas and rooms. Everything seems well maintained and the breakfast options were good. We stayed in room 431 which looks down on the grill/patio area. Great room. (The only issue was that the shower head was not great and that was definitely not a big deal.)
