TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clinton at Joint Base Andrews

We checked in here on October 27, 2025 and checked out on October 29, 2025. The staff was very friendly. When we checked in we were warned that internet service is spotty due to the military base across the street. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a bit of noise the comes from the outside, so kind of neat others not so much. Hearing reveille at 7AM and taps at 9PM is sort of fun. Hearing jets and helicopters taking off at all time s of the day not so much. Even with this we were able to get a good night's sleep with the very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included with standard no frills fare that is edible. Its free and its filling is its best features. Now on to the wi-fi. We needed this to get work done during the day and at night. The wi-fi never worked. Luck

Townplace Suites Clinton at Joint Base Andrews has a phenomenal front desk staff at an excellent location. However, this property is desperately in need of a renovation. The only reason this property is successful is because of the staff, which is the bases for my 4 stars. A staff this personable should not be dinged for shortcomings of the owners of this franchise location. The first room I stayed in had excessive water stains across the ceiling that coordinated with the overall outdated room. Between the off odor and the noisy longer term client next door, I did not return for months. My most recent visit, the mattress was the worse I have ever slept on at any hotel. You can see the sagging throughout the mattress and it felt even worse to sleep on. I also had a bad allergy reaction to

Stayed one night. Check in was easy. Room had all the amenities has promised (microwave, fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, silverware, glasses, etc). Room was clean. Location of TV awkward but it swiveled. Will be back in 2 weeks

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Whenever you needed anything and whatever time it was they did their best to ensure that we had everything that we needed. I felt like a family when I was there. The rooms are clean the gym was nice and they had a girl outside where they had seasonings and utensils that made it easier for us to have a barbecue. Everyone was so helpful and so kind from the front desk personnel to the house keepers and I really appreciate that. Whenever I needed something they didn’t seem like I was bothering them but everyone was helpful to get the things that we needed! Thank you for taking such great care of everyone.

Really appreciated the professional staff that works at the front desk. They were very polite and helpful. Big shout out to Dexter; I left something in my room after I checked out, and he went out of his way to make sure I still got it. Thanks for going above and beyond! Give Dexter a raise!
