Town and Country Inn and Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

I've stayed here a few times. The prices are reasonable and the rooms are clean. The walls are paper thin, however. So if you're looking for an intimate moment then you best keep it down. On one of my visits I could have sworn I heard a pig oinking. When I went outside, sure enough, someone was walking a pig on a leash. I've never encountered a pet pig at a hotel before. 🐷 On the upside, pets are allowed. The restaurant used to be very good but I was highly disappointed on a recent trip. I got the prime rib and it was so salty I could barely get it down. And the cut was very fatty. I had a bread dish full of fat by the time I was done. Also, both my wife and my meals were not hot. Positive: Its clean and most of the employees helpful and friendly. The pool area hot tub sauna and steam room are very clean and well maintained. The exercise room up stairs is also very clean Negative: Employees at the front desk should remember that a hello a smile and have a good day cost nothing and goes a long way. Let's start with the food; I was very surprised on the quality. The chef knows what he is doing. The service staff and everyone there were so nice, and accomodating. The rooms; the one I had was very roomy, beds were comfy, very clean, good TV that had easy access to HDMI for your games and such. The pool was large and super clean. They have a steam room! And a sauna. Hot tub was a great bonus. The have a super little game room. Lounge: Entertainment on Saturday night, great drinks and bartender, pretty good sized. Parking: plenty of it. Staff: everyone there was very North Country friendly, and helpful. Bottom line, this was a great surprise, and I will be back this Summer with the grandkids. Can't wait.

We come to New Hampshire every October and this is our first stay here. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The only issue we had was the pillows were very flat so we borrowed 2 from our brothers room. Breakfast was delicious and very accommodating. Plenty of parking and staff were all very friendly. Rooms were quite sound proof. The Arcade room was great for kids and adults who like a few video games. We absolutely will be back next year and really enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed here a few times now in the winter months for snow time fun. Rooms are reasonably priced, always very clean. The hot tub is a must after a day in 20 degree weather, the steam room as well. We've had dinner there once and it was really good! Great location between jericho state park and Mt Washington. 10/10 highly recommend!
