Tokeland Hotel

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Tokeland Hotel, paired with truly unforgettable meals at Wandering Goose. As a southerner, I was genuinely surprised in the best possible way by how much the food tasted like home. Comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every meal was a highlight.||We brought our Bloodhound with us, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They were wonderful with him, and between the staff and other guests, he ended up with quite the fan club. Came for New Years Eve dinner. I had a reservation for 7pm but did not get seated until 7:30 because the turn over was so slow. No one wanted to leave! I didn't blame them - why would they want to leave such a beautiful place? The Tokeland Hotel and Wandering Goose Restaurant is such a gem. The host Austin and my server Courtney were great. Austin was inundated with guests and questions and handled the chaos like a champ. Courtney was attentive and kind to all her tables. I came to the hotel two years ago with my previous dog who passed that same year in July. I have always wanted to go back and thought tonight was the night. I was very happy with my experience. If you have the opportunity to go to the Tokeland Hotel do it!

Just spent a lovely weekend at Tokeland Hotel and would recommend! It feels like stepping back in time to a historic inn, so well decorated and the food is exceptional! The single rooms are a little snug, but cozy, and there are plenty of shared bathrooms. A woodfired hot tub was a fun treat. The staff went above and beyond to cater to us. A lovely place to check out and if not to stay, then to eat!

This place was absolutely jaw dropping. We only had drinks, and a lil snackysnack, but it was fabulous. Im sure the rooms are amazing too. Service was amazing. I cant wait to go back!

This was the most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at! So so cozy. It feels like you’re in the 1800s by a warm fire. Incredible ambiance and PHENOMENAL food. Pastries are made fresh in house every morning, you can see the chickens who lay your eggs, and there are the sweetest cats and dogs lounging around the hotel. Rooms are small and super cute, and the shared bathrooms don’t feel shared at all - never had to wait, and they’re gorgeous! Beds were so so comfy. You can hear the noise from downstairs until about 10 but they leave earplugs if you need them. We spent so much time reading by the fire downstairs though, it didn’t really matter. Dogs are very welcome - our pup came and sat with us at dinner and on the couches downstairs. Very friendly staff even gave her some treats and learned he
