Toccoa Motel

The customer service is horrible, the location is just around a bunch of bad people so there's always something or someone that is unsafe there, and the last room I was in had bed bugs. Every time before the last there weren't bugs, but that one was just awful and crawling with them.

Positive: Nothing train blowed all night no hot water no close restaurants no Heat no extra cover Negative: I didn’t like it

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and recently updated. Freshly painted, new curtain, new tile wall in shower and room smelt good. Bed was soft/ comfortable, nice quiet area, AC worked well, TV / cable good, Price was good. But a roach crawled across bed. Totally creeped out the rest of the night lookly for another roach. Bring your own bug spray

They're very nice people. Though they could have turned us away if all they had to offer was a room that smelt of weed smoke. It went away after I sprayed the room with febreze I got from the dollar general. They told us if we needed anything to ask so i wish them the best. The other guests are a little shady, it makes sense because the rooms are so cheap. They're isn't an ice machine and the soda machine doesn't work either. We won't be using this motel again. It's definitely worth it if there's absolutely nothing else available but not something you'd use if you plan on staying in Toccoa. Plan ahead and reserve something else.

Towels were threadbare, lighting was dim and sparse, no lamps, no outlets around the vanity for doing my hair, only 1 outlet between the beds for charging phones, and no closet rods (or door frames) to hang clothes on. (I used the shower curtain rod and the towel rod.) The fridge was barely cold on the max setting, and it was not clean. The train goes by about 4 times during the night, blowing a whistle every time. All outside traffic could be heard through the a/c unit, and there was a lot of traffic throughout the night. The location appears to be in a less than desirable part of town.
