Tims Ford Turkey Creek Campground

And the shower was completely COLD. Online reservation needed. On-site check-in is not required. I highly recommend the main campground with electric.

It was our first time camping at Turkey Creek and we enjoyed it! Campsites are large enough so that you don’t feel like you’re piled on top of your neighbors or invading the campsite next to you.The grounds keeper, Jodi, was very friendly and helpful when asking her about the best sites to book for our next stay. We also booked a sunset pontoon boat tour and were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset. Definitely plan on camping at Turkey Creek again!

Beautiful campground but very spread out. Turkey Creek campground is 9 miles from the main campground. Campsites 6, 7 & 8 were very big. I would highly recommend for large group. The restrooms weren’t very clean but we pushed through…🥴 You definitely need a boat to enjoy Tim’s Ford Lake and all it has to offer.

Great little spot for camping! The boat ramp is a beautiful area. The bathrooms were clean. And the sites were large, flat, and easy to setup on. That said, the field layout of this campground means noise will travel easily between sites as folks party around the fire at night. If you are looking for quiet evenings, this is not the site for you. Perfect for group car camping!

We stayed at site 10 in the primitive area and it was so much better than the pictures they have of the sites on their web page. There are restrooms fairly close by and they were surprisingly clean for campground bathrooms. The campground host came to our site briefly to greet us and let us know about the place including that you can purchase bundles of wood that will be delivered for you. The only reason I can not give 5 stars is there was broken glass everywhere. I expect there to be a couple broken bottles when going to a campground but this site was completely covered with old glass shards. It didn't impact us other than having to do extra prep work where we set our tents up but our kids typically keep their shoes on. If you like to go barefoot then stay away from this site. Otherwise
