The Yatel Motel

Stopped for the night on my way through town. It's a no-nonsense, no-frills motel that has a certain charm and personality. The room was clean and well appointed with some nice thoughtful touches. Great price and (the owner) Scott was very friendly and courteous and nice to have a chat with

This is a terrible place to stay. The room was not cleaned well, with whiskers around the sink. The sink did not drain and we fixed it, then it leaked. Check in after hours was through the wall, no entrance to the office. Overall a very bad experience. The pictures on the website are all pretty with landscaping and a nice appearance. But if you bring a pet, you stay outside of this area, facing a parking lot and in not as nice of a room.

Love this place! Been back 3 times and looking forward to coming back again. Owners are so nice, rooms are clean and comfortable, very dog friendly, 5 minute walk into the most incredible little Oregon coastal town.

We just stayed in this lovely motel in the charming town of Yachats. The rooms were clean and modern, the wifi was fast and the room had a nice little kitchenette. The beds have actually comfortable, soft blankets, instead of the usual paper thin, borderline rough blankets that you get in most hotels and short term rentals these days. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and seemed like genuinely nice people, who are in it for the love of it. We'll definitely come back here. We also found out that they're very dog friendly, so maybe we'll bring ours next time.

Very cute local motel within walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown. Very nice staff and the added thoughtfulness of a selection of books and DVDs to use for free was a nice touch! Rooms are ocean cottage themed (very cute) and were clean and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone passing through!
