Silver Surf Motel

This is such a cute little motel! Retro but updated and clean. It's right on the beach, with an amazing view from our room. Our room also had a kitchenette which we enjoyed cooking a small supper in. We have 3 kids and they had a little comfy mattress for one. Free breakfast and a pool! Plus so reasonable!! I recommend 👌.

We do not go out of town and stay in a motel very often. We thought it would be a nice get away and chose the Silver Surf based on area and reviews. I have to say the location of this motel is fabulous. Such a nice beach and not super busy. The motel, on the other hand, was very disappointing. It is in desperate need of attention and repairs. They have partially painted the outside making it look awful. The grounds are not being taken care of. The rooms inside are very dated and dirty. The floors are sticky they are so dirty. The bed is very uncomfortable and so are the pillows. And, to top it off, if you leave dirty dishes, you will be charged $10.00. Really? Do you think the guests are going to wash their dishes or are they just going to put them back in the cupboard to appe

This place isn't super fancy but the rooms are clean. Awesome view of the beach. Beach was literally 100 feet away. Breakfast is simple but satisfying. I love the pool and hot tub. Small kitchen but perfect for what we needed. Ben was very soft and we slept very good. People that run it were awesome and helpful.

Highly recommend. Excellent oceanfront location - beachfront balcony in room meant I could see and hear the ocean the whole time. There is beach access direct from the hotel, and the beach was not crowded. The hotel was dog friendly, with easy access to potty areas for my pup. The room had good amenities, including a full kitchenette. The room was very affordable, especially considering the location! The hotel is older a bit worn, but in a charming, beachfront way. Staff were friendly!
