The Woodrose

We had a great stay here! Check-in was easy and the front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and right in front of our room. The entire place is updated, including tastefully decorated rooms. It was very clean and comfortable. One of the best surprises was the Nespresso coffee machine, which made my morning. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through.

Comfortable beds! Recent renovation makes it clean and updated, with many unexpected amenities. Mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker but also an espresso machine, teas, and an in-room safe. It’s pet friendly and the office staff are very helpful and accommodating. The outside looks like the original 1950’s roadside motor inn it started life as. The inside is a nice surprise. Equivalent to some Holiday Inns or Best Westerns I’ve stayed at. I’m a repeat customer and will happily stay here again in the future.

I’ve been coming to Willits since 1970. Most of the motels along the road into town hasn’t changed or evolved over the years. My brother who lives in town said to check out The Woodrose because it was just renovated. I read the favorable reviews on Google, like the reasonable price & booked for 2 nights. You’ve heard the phrase, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” right? I drove right past it initially. It blended in with all the other motels along the road apparently. When I finally did pull in I thought I had made a mistake. It looked like a typical 1960’s motel with fresh paint applied. But then I went into a clean well decorated office & met Raj. Highly recommend! After a long drive 11 hour from So Cal, it was refreshing to arrive to a warm welcome and a spacious room! The room was much bigger than I thought based on the pictures. We had two very comfortable queen beds a dining area, a desk and a mini kitchen (mini fridge, microwave, Nespresso machine and kettle) all the comforts of home. I appreciated the wood floors (slippers provided) as I travel often and look for this particular feature. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, we stayed 4 nights. You can tell they take pride in providing their guests with an excellent experience. Raj had texted me with recommendations of where to eat and things to do.
