The Woodford Inn

Perfect place in all facets. Close to everything we wanted to see. Food was awesome. Bread pudding was to die for. Great selection of bourbon and seasonal drinks. Staff was very nice and could not do enough to make our stay more pleasant; from filling our ice buckets, the tips on local places to visit or going the extra mile during our stay. Rooms had comfortable beds, mini fridge and cozy feeling. Very well kept and clean. Richard and Laura have a gem in the town of Versailles. So happy we stayed there.

Elegant and cozy atmosphere with terrific food. We had sandwiches -- portobello mushroom, grilled cheese and patty melt. All excellent and reasonably priced for such a classy place. Nice array of options from salads to salmon. Full bar with specialty drinks.

I really enjoyed my stay! I was in room 8. It was a bit loud (I kept hearing clanging and crashes of some sort even after 11) and I swear I heard a baby crying-- ghosts? But the bed was super firm and comfortable. Very very clean. The bathroom was beautiful with gold fixtures. Breakfast of eggs, fruit, coffee and bacon hit the spot! Would stay again!

We went for the Thanksgiving day meal that was offeted buffet style. Very organized and reservations were required to enjoy their delicious spread of everyone's favorites. The best deal around. Also offered on Mother's day and Easter.

Service was good. Drinks were good. Food was subpar. The French onion soup felt reheated with the cheese from yesterday on it. The salad was decent. The chicken marinara dish was way overcooked and over spiced. Needed a steak knife to cut it. The pasta was definitely not Capellini, it was very thick spaghetti. And they forgot to bring my loaded baked potato.
