The food at the Wildflower Inn Restaurant was spectacular. I enjoyed the fried goat cheese to start then tore into a burger. The person I was with ordered the duck wings which were crispy and tender then he enjoyed the trout. We both sampled the drink menu and would recommend doing the same. I particularly enjoyed the blueberry lemon drop.
This place is amazing - great views, mountain biker heaven, excellent restaurant, badminton, pickleball, beautiful gardens, just a great place to stay - wish we could have stayed longer!
Another amazing stay at the Wildflower. They continue to make improvements to the guest experience - love the new paint scheme on the buildings and the rooms continue to improve. Def an up and coming destination. I love the winter time up here - peaceful, restful with amazing views all day long! The location is great for skiers, so close to Burke Mountain which is also getting some major improvements with their new ownership. I'm excited for the future! Don't miss having dinner at the Wildflower, the head chef Annie makes an amazing meal - you won't leave hungry, that's for sure!
After a great day of skiing at Burke, we stopped by The Wildfire for dinner based on a friend's recommendation and so glad we did! We arrived just as they opened and went to the pub for dinner. We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated and treated to an amazing view! As soon as we were seated, Colin (our bartender) and Heather (our server) were warm, friendly and helpful. We were in the mood for beers and sandwiches and weren't prepared for how good everything was. Great selection of beer on tap and in cans/bottles and very reasonable compared to other establishments we've been at this week. Ice cold cans served with nicely chilled pint glasses. My brother went for the grilled chicken sandwich with jerk seasoning with a side of truffle fries. I chose the bleu cheese burger with baco
This is my favorite place in Vermont, especially spring, summer, and fall. I can spend an entire day there just taking in the views and relaxing. There's a pool, several lounge chairs, outdoor patio seating (dog-friendly). I have not stayed at the Inn, but the staff are very nice. The food won't change your life, but it is good. I have liked the salads. The chicken is really thick, which is not my style, but maybe it works for others. At the end of the day, this place has exceptionally breathtaking views and I will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here just to take it all in. I always bring VT visitors here and they LOVE it. Staff are great. I love the resident chickens that roam around. I love the sunflowers when they bloom. Awesome spot for photos, BTW! And, just a generally beautiful a
