The Whitetail Inn & Suites

Spent months here and can't wait to return. Great owners, extremely clean, large rooms, and onsite laundry facility. Rooms were always well prepared and check-in is a breeze. Highly recommended if you are looking for lodging in the area.

What a lovely inn. I stayed in room2. At first, I thought it was terrible. I walked in, bed right there. I was by myself, big queen bed, wonderful fluffy pillows. As I moved into the room, I looked around and saw that the housekeeping was nothing short of perfect. Lovely bedspread, good taste in drapes, old inn but well appointed structure, it has been updated with everything. Really nice deck that I wish I’d have had time to use. New shower. Good taste. New carpet possibly. The office area meets my experience with anew England inns, wood floor, sitting area, nicely decorated. Now, why my initial bad reaction? It sits on a busy thoroughfare. In the country this would be magical. It is what it is. For me, it could not have turned out better. I had a medical appointment a half mile away. Lov

We stayed 3 nights at the Inn at the recommendation of friends that live in the area. The pros; very clean, comfortable beds, Keurig type coffee maker with coffee pods, shampoo, soap, blow dryer supplied and the price is good. Our unit looked exactly as pictured. The keys are left in lock boxes, not on an open counter. You will receive a text with instructions. The cons; as other have mentioned the bath towels are thin, lack of hooks or place to put toiletries in the bathroom and you will have some road noise so bring ear plugs. We had been traveling for a week before we arrived in Lincoln and greatly appreciated the clean new laundromat adjacent to both the main in Inn and the Victorian house. Highly recommend staying at the Whitetail Inn.

Stayed 3-4 nights while on business for the first time in Lincoln Maine. The owner and his family were very friendly. The room was more like a small apartment with wood floors and antique furniture. The particular room I was in (15 I think ) was the closest to the road so it was a little noisy until about 9 PM but overall I would consider The Whitetail a "hidden gem".
