The Wheelhouse Inn

The Wheelhouse Inn is located in the quite little town of Pine Hill. The Inn has been converted from an old house into a lovely quaint Inn nestled in the mountains. We arrived late and the proprietor had left our key and a kind note at the front desk. It was really nice and we were able to go to our room without disturbing the proprietor after check in hours! We booked the queen sized bedroom that had ample space with a couch. The bed was big and comfortable with loads of bedding that we just took off as it was the month of July when we stayed! The room had an air conditioning unit so we were able to keep the room at a nice comfortable temperature. The room came with multiple outlets, ample closet space, great WiFi and an en suite bathroom. What a wonderful place to stay with an excellent story being a former wooden wheelhouse factory. The owners are super nice with discount tickets and a wealth of knowledge about the mountain. Cozy rooms in a rustic building, this Inn is only 3 miles from Belleayre and my new place in Pine Hill.

I would rate the Wheelhouse 3.5 stars. I would stay here again. Quick overnight ski trip to the Catskills. Made a last minute reservation. Paid $130 for the night. The room had a queen size bed and two single beds which worked for me and a friend. The Wheelhouse Inn is a very old house converted to a small Inn. The Good: Very clean. Wifi worked great. Kind host. One of the best restaurants (zephyr) a few doors away. I wouldn't say anything is bad but there is much room for improvement. This place is VERY rustic and the $130/night is not justified in my opinion. It should be under $100. There was no TV.

Very good location to Belleayre Ski Mountain. It’s located in a very quiet town. Room was clean , warm and cozy. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Wifi was perfect. We will of course stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it has been a very pleasant stay. We were able to rest delightfully after our daily hiking excursions. The room was comfy and clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or around Pine Hill
