Pine Hill Arms Hotel

BEWARE!!! The website clearly states "free cancellation". It also states below "book now, pay later". I reserved 1 room and "because" it stated right next to the room choice "free cancellation", I booked 1 night as we were thinking of staying over to lessen a drive. Since it stated "free cancellation", I felt comfortable making this reservation. 4 Days later, I cancelled the reservation as we decided to no longer stay over. That piece of mind just went out the window with my $180. The man, whom he calls himself a manager was the most rude and unprofessional person and hung up on me twice. He had no facts to support his claim as there are no refunds. I went back on the website and there it is, "free cancellation". When I asked about this, he just spoke over me "no refunds", "7 day cancellat

We visited Belleayre for a ski weekend during the holiday break and stayed at Pine Hill Arms. The accommodations are "just the basics" but what a great experience for the kids (cousins) in the two families traveling together. They were doing puzzles and playing board games in the lobby and learning that you don't need TV and devices for entertainment. The people couldn't be any nicer and offered great advice for places to visit during our stay. We will definitely return!

For $100 or less, The Pine Hill Arms would be kind of reasonable. For $158 ($176 including taxes) it is 2 star. The good - great location - Pine Hill is great. The bad - we stayed in a Queen and the bathroom was not only small but falling apart / very bad workmanship. The common areas are not clean and the place where they leave coffee / bagels is dark with no windows. There are cables in hallways that are definitely not up to code and no AC in room. We were the only ones there and didn’t see anyone the whole time (no staff). Bar and Restaurant closed but not mentioned on the website. This place needs to be taken over by someone who really cares for it - it is a great property but it’s been let to go bad

Our family has been staying at the Pine Hill Arms for the past four years. Our kid is on the Belleayre ski team - so it is such a gift to have a clean, affordable option like the Pine Hill Arms SO close to the mountain. We stay almost every weekend during ski season. The staff, Peter (and previously Jane), are very kind and go above and beyond to make our stays smooth. The hotel is older (as mentioned in another review), but everything (rooms, lobby, linens) is super clean. The beds are comfortable, you can sit by the fire in the lobby after skiing, and the town of Pine Hill is very cute. The hotel's restaurant is closed right now (such a bummer - it was really really good), but hopefully they'll find a new operator.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for a skiing weekend at Belleayere Mountain. We ended up staying only one night and paying extra to book a different place for the second night. The carpet is thin and dingy, the place has an odor, and the rooms are below average. There was no hot water. And the bed was so uncomfortable - felt like an air mattress. The only plus point was that it was a 5 min drive from the ski mountain. For just a little more money, you can book a room at one of the many nicer bed and breakfasts in the area.
