I stayed here because obviously some big events were going on last night and this is the only hotel I can find with a reasonable price and not too far. It turns out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is in a stylish building, has super cool room design, and the lobby is cozy and has characters. The breakfast burrito in the morning is delicious. Overall great experience for a quick night stay. The room is on the smaller side.
The Wayfarer Downtown LA was a great location! Quiet part of Downtown LA. There were plenty of places around to eat, get coffee, shop at a grocery store, and also had a bunch of fashion stores around the corner if you needed a last-minute outfit or something as simple as extra socks. ||There is a parking garage that allows you to come and go for a $40 charge per day - and honestly, this was the best deal around the area, so I highly recommend using it. ||The hotel is exactly how you see it in the pictures. Colorful, inviting, and unique in its style. I ate breakfast here one morning, and it was delicious. The service throughout my stay was very professional and hospitable. I had traveled out to Cali for a gig I had in Beverly Hills, and this was my first time traveling alone with my band a
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. After checking out, they never sent me my invoice—they simply charged my credit card without any explanation. I had to call the hotel myself to request the bill. When I finally reviewed the invoice, I noticed they had added a food and beverage charge of $74.75 at The Rooftop, which I never made. I called again and they told me they would “investigate and get back to me,” but they never did. This lack of communication, incorrect billing, and failure to follow up is unacceptable. I expected much better from a hotel run by Hilton . I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Big Disappointment – Avoid This Hotel We requested info about incidental charges and were told to email them. We did, but never got a response. The next morning, we woke up to bed bugs in our room. We contacted the hotel immediately, and their engineer confirmed the issue. We also sent photos of the bugs and bloodstains on the sheets (clearly they hadn’t been changed before our arrival), but never heard back. We left right away, and they covered the laundry fee for the clothes we had under the bed, which was the only small positive. The staff assured us they'd handle the refund since we booked through Agoda, but five days later, I called to follow up and was told the hotel never submitted any refund request. Agoda tried calling the hotel for 20 minutes with no answer and was told to emai
A truly wonderful boutique hotel located right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It’s not a large place, but that’s part of its charm — it feels intimate, stylish, and very cozy. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The room itself is small but perfectly designed — clean, modern, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. When I say everything, I really mean it! I was genuinely surprised to find earplugs by the bed, along with a note explaining that the hotel cannot always guarantee complete quiet because of the lively neighborhood. I thought that was such a considerate gesture. I didn’t need to use them myself, but I appreciated the thoughtfulness
