The Wah-Zha-Zhi House

We were a group of five couples and stayed at the Wah-Zha-Zhi House. It worked perfectly for us. We had plenty of room to hang out. Beds and accommodations were very comfortable. Morning coffee on the deck was wonderful. A great hotel alternative if you’re visiting Pawhuska.

This was a really nice place to stay for the night. Not too expensive. Cute and cozy room. Bed was very comfortable. Glad we had our own bathroom. Bedding, towels, washcloths, soap were provided, always a plus. Free parking behind the house. Small kitchen with plates, bowls, utensils, stove microwave and fridge/freezer. Everything was so nice and cozy and nothing to worry about. Only emailed back and forth with the owners but the seemed very nice and helpful. We could hear the people staying in the other rooms but it wasn't too bad. All in all we will be returning. Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations.

What a wonderful hidden gem! We booked one of the ground level apartments for a single night stay the morning of our arrival. For the low price, we were expecting a small, no frills place. Wow! Were we surprised when we opened the door! Very clean, lots of space, modern appliances in the kitchen, beautiful wood cabinets with kitchenware, large flat screen TV in living room, separate climate controls for each bedroom, very comfortable mattresses. It was a perfect, relaxing place for the 3 of us. The manager was so thoughtful, too. He had the A/C on and cold bottles of water in the fridge. Highly recommend.

The service was fabulous both at time of reservations and check in. Wonderful home like stay with private parking in the back. We stayed in a one bedroom but it had an efficiency kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and roomy bathroom. We had entrance to a small porch in front and shared porch in the back. It was so clean and the bed was comfortable. We were given the book of emergency numbers, tv listings and wifi code. Every detail was covered down to games and an assortment of books. We were so happy with our stay. Although we drove around, it was only about 7 walking blocks from downtown. The decor was perfect with an Indian theme with beautiful artwork. We will definitely stay here again.

Although we didn't spend a lot of time here, our nights were quiet and peaceful. Our suite was perfect! We had a kitchenette, living room two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was perfect for us 4 women. The price was very affordable especially for what we got. Although we never saw the owner/manager, everything was just as he said. We had no problems and felt safe the entire stay. It's not that bad of a neighborhood as some have reported. It's just in a more residential area, probably more middle class. We loved it!
