Speaking of railways - what an incredible experience to be picked up by the steam train right on the property and then whisked away to Jim Thorpe and beyond. Your special hostess Carolee will assure that every detail and special request are met to your complete satisfaction. It was an amazing time! We loved the train ride and the tree house. Keep in mind I think it's only a twin bed, but there is a fold out couch and a regular couch as well. Very cozy and spacious! And the electronic gate system worked very well, it even connects right outside the house. Very lovely hosts as well!

We just returned from The Village where we spent enjoyable 10 days. We loved our stay at the Tree top loft. The home was very clean, fully stocked with extra bedding, pillows, towels etc. Kitchen came stocked with , cooking utensils, pots , pans, spices, coffee pot, microwave, toaster etc. Great for those wanting to save money from eating out. Came in handy for us for a quick breakfast before heading out daily for sight seeing trips. We normally dined the rest of the day at local restaurants in the areas we were visiting. Nearby Tamaqua has some great Restaurants as well. The property at the Village is beautiful with its creek running through the property, wood bridge, nice walking trails and view. Also for train lovers the tracks run through the property and there is even a Train station

My wife and I had an awesome weekend!!!! Our house was beautifully decorated, cozy and welcoming. We watched the snow fall through the huge living room windows, and our train trip was especially awesome because we had our very own train stop yards from the house. Highly recommend this get away. ❤️
