Bischoff Inn

This is such a cool place. It's a good thing that someone has the vision and initiative to re-purpose thus old property and save it from blight and destruction. This place has been beautifully redone and is well-appointed! It was very quiet the night we were here. There were snacks and candy available while we settled in for the football game in our room. Our team lost, but we were the winners for picking the Bischoff Inn for our stay. Very comfortable bed, good working heat and the shower was really nice with the rain fall shower head. Plenty of nice hot water! Very clean. A question for the innkeeper was promptly answered. We would definitely book here again!

I stayed at the Bischoff Inn as part of their "Micro-Residency" initiative and had an incredible experience. I stayed in the Bischoff Suite, which provided ample room and amenities for my downtime. The hotel is well situated if you're looking to explore the area, and it's very close to the main streets in Tamaqua if you want to go out to eat or shop. I think the Inn is run very thoughtfully, and the design of the space is top-notch. A cut above other places I've stayed in Pennsylvania. If you're interested in the residency, I recommend it. If you're visiting the area or passing through and need a place to stay, definitely go for it. Perfect if you're checking out Jim Thorpe or heading to the Mahoning Drive-In. I look forward to returning in the future.

We saw this Tamaqua hotel on Trip Advisor and even there were no reviews yet, we decided to take a chance. So glad we did. Turned out to be a great find! Redo of an old historic building in a residential neighborhood. Just five rooms in the place. All the rooms are nicely done, beds very comfortable,great shower, nice community area, safe and easy parking. Everything was super clean. Was mostly quiet, but sound does carry through the old structure. Very hard to find food anywhere nearby though. Even the few coffee shops open late. Would be ideal if there were equally cute restaurants in Tamaqua, so maybe the owners of The Biscoff could redo a restaurant?? Just saying…

This inn was super cute! The common area had nice space and decor and the added touches of tea, coffee and snacks were very nice. The unique rooms are tastefully decorated and I particularly enjoyed the book selection in the Conrad room. Everything was very clean and the provided toiletries were high end hotel quality just like the bedding. The location is definitely residential but quiet and quaint. We didn’t have time to check out any local eateries or pubs but the recommendation book in the room had plenty of good information about where to go. If visiting Jim Thorpe this inn is about a 15 minute drive but better parking and amenities.

We loved our stay at the Bischoff Inn! From the unique and historic interior to the comfortable rooms, we will definitely be back and recommend to any visiting PA. The location is perfectly positioned in town and is within close proximity to Jim Thorpe! We had a wonderful stay, and it is evident the Inn is both thoughtfully curated and designed.
