The Traveler on Main

The Traveler on Main was everything I needed! Was in town for funeral services for my grandfather, I needed an early check in and Beth was able to get me in when I needed. I was able to change clothes and get ready before the service. Beth (owner) is fabulous! Check-in was simple and fast! Payment was easy. Ample parking. The room I stayed in was spacious, pristine and gorgeous! I had more than everything I needed. The kitchenette was stocked with all the essentials (microwave, coffee maker, cups, creamer, paper towels, dishes, house care items, etc) there was a small dining space, a small desk that I used to do my makeup, a comfortable bed, large tv with tons of options, a fully stocked bathroom (towels, soaps, hooks inside the door) an immaculate shower with two shower heads and a benc

Stayed for Octobrewfest weekend and it was a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable and place was clean with plenty of room. Walking distance to main street.

Made a ride on our bikes to the back of the dragon. We love the location and super easy process. Room was updated and clean. Only hit was the bright exit light. May be a VA state code issue. Super bright ..The pics are with the lights off. Will still stay there again for sure.

I had a fantastic stay at The Traveler in Tazewell, Virginia. This boutique hotel truly exceeded expectations—everything from the warm, inviting atmosphere to the top-notch cleanliness made it a standout. The beds were especially comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. One of the best parts? The location. It's conveniently situated right across the street from the famous Back of the Dragon—a must-ride for motorcycle enthusiasts. Being able to hop off the bike and walk straight into such a welcoming and well-kept place was perfect. If you're riding the Dragon or just passing through Tazewell, I highly recommend staying at The Traveler. It’s got charm, comfort, and the best location in town.

I’ve spent many nights there in the past year or so. The apartments are fantastic! The place is in walking distance to several dining options. I look forward to my travels in the area and always stay at The Traveler.
