The Springs Motel

We stayed one night at this motel during a weekend trip to the Berkshires, and overall it was a mixed experience. First, the customer service was excellent. The front desk AI assistant, Alfred, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Every question we had was answered quickly, and it definitely made check-in and communication seamless. We also appreciated the little Valentine’s Day extra — we added the $25 Prosecco package, which was a fun and thoughtful touch for a quick romantic getaway. The room itself had a charming vintage feel. It was warm, cozy, and had that nostalgic character that fits well with the Berkshires vibe. That said, there were some significant downsides. The bathroom really needs a major overhaul. It looked like patchwork repairs had been done over

Fantastic time here over a long weekend with family members. Our room was delightful with plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The “ yard” was a wonderful gathering space, and the pool lovely but really too cold for a swim. |We appreciated the staff’s attentiveness and hope to return another time for sightseeing.

Truly top tier customer service! Brian was very helpful during our the insane cold snap and storm this weekend. He and his team ensured we were kept warm and walkways safe. Even in the winter this place retains its charm. Location is great! Between Pittsfield and North Adams for perfect access to both locations. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy even more of the amenities!

Last weekend I did a roadtrip with a friend out to the Berkshires to celebrate another friends birthday. Many of the bday party guest were staying at the Springs. When we arrived there were a few dozen guests having a pot luck dinner on the lawn before the party (at a separate location) Contactless check-in to the room was easy. The room is well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. I love the vintage vibe of the whole place (see photo of appliances below). In the morning we had a lovely chat with the new owner, Brian. He has a lot of wonderful plans for additions. Including making the Airstream a featured lodging option. I will absolutely stay there again when in the area and I would recommend to anyone.

Stayed there 1/30/26 to go snowmobiling and it was great. Access to trail 90 is right in the back of their property with truck/trailer parking. Brian the owner is a great host, very accommodating. Cool lobby with a nice fireplace to hang out. No restaurant on site but the old forge is only 8 minutes away.
