A night in this warm and welcoming motel is a delightful journey to the past: red shag carpets from the 60s, old-fashioned wafer-sized bars of soap, and a delightful, energetic owner whose age will astound you (just ask). The Inn sits on a beautiful pasture with a distant view of Mt. Greylock, across the stream from the one-room schoolhouse where the first woman cast a ballot in a presidential election. If you're in the mood, ask if you can hit golf balls in the pasture (which the owner mows herself).
Room was a bit musty when we first got there, but opened both windows them ran a.c.. Very comfy beds. Owner very sweet & welcoming. Would definitely come back!
Very nice people own and run this modest, clean, well maintained motel in a nice, peaceful, wooded surrounding.
