Location & price Rumi is a good bargin. Rooms were alright, I purchased a private room which came with a bunk bed. The bed was worn, center was caved in a little, but not too bad. Pillows were thin, but if you stacked two in one pillow case. I think you'd do alright. I didn't have problems with late night noise, but about 6am the cleaners came by & cleaned the hostel. And people next door living started waking up for work & regular life events. Again, it wasn't bad. Cleaners came by twice in my 3 night stay, that I noticed. Place was clean say, restrooms were good too, though some were small. I wouldn't hesitate to have my mother use them though. Would stay again & recommend this spot for someone on a budget. Public transit half block down the road & major transit center 2 & a half block

Rumi is clean, cozy, and has a great vibe. The location in Koreatown is super convenient, close to public transportation, restaurants, and grocery stores, and it felt safe even when coming back late. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers.|The staff were friendly and helpful, and I met nice people over there. Breakfast is simple but nice to have, and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. It’s not a luxury place, but for the price and atmosphere, it’s honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in LA. Highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers.

First time, i stayed at hostel and the hostel was acceptable with location and safety in hostel. Bus stops and metro is prettt easy to use. The people was nice to talk and communicate in hostel. Easy check in-out. The breakfast is not breakfast, just bread, nutella, peanut butter and pancake mix.Every morning, a lady cleaned the bathroom. Everyone was respectful to be quiet for others in my room; i was lucky✨🤞🏻

Jonas was very Supportive and friendly. The energy he carries is always positive. I appreciate his no compromise on discipline. I enjoyed my stay in the hostel and the best thing I noticed was a drug free hostel.

I stayed 5 nights in the Rumi. It was a great experience! I want to share it! Let’s start from the +++ positive sides: 1. The room is getting clean everyday 2. There is a toilet paper every day 3. They provide a free breakfast 4. They also have free hot drinks 5. They give you a label to sign your food 6. Each bed has a socket and lamp 7. People aren’t allowed to eat in the room. Then, the --- negative sides: 1. There is no laundry 2. They ask you to show some documents to proof that you are a traveler and not going to extend your stay. And the neutral 000 sides: 1. If you want to use your own mug, you will have to carry it around with you. On the first day I left mine in the kitchen and never saw it again. 2. You need to bring your own padlock or pay for a rental one. Anyway, in total, t
