The Riverside Lodge at Chimney Rock

This is the place to stay. The staff is amazing go way beyond to make sure your stay is a memorable visit . The rooms are clean, view of creek is so beautiful. You can walk to main street to shop in cute little shops. If you want to get away and relax this is place to stay.

I recently stayed at Riverside Lodge, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is beautiful, offering serene views of the river and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, perfect for relaxing and taking in the natural surroundings. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, Riverside Lodge is a great choice!

The hotel is located right on the river. You can hear and see it from your room. Very serene and quiet. The room was cozy and comfortable. We were right down the street from the village and Chimney Rock Park. The hotel had parking on the premises and really loved their contactless checkin via text message. We did not have to worry about time we arrived- very helpful. Only had 2 issues with this establishment. The wood floors in our room were not very clean, cause our socks got dirty after walking around. The other issue was we had NO HOT WATER that night or the next morning and had to take COLD Showers! The management told us they were having it repaired but would not be fixed til after we left. I don’t fault them for the repair issue, but they did not even offer any kind of disc

This was our second stay at Riverside Lodge. We love the rustic, but very clean rooms. Our updated bathroom wasn’t very big, but was sufficient and the river stone shower floor was very nice. |Other positives were the private |balcony overlooking the river (very peaceful), the parking right at the front door, the friendly staff, towels that smell great, and the fact that restaurants, shopping at quaint businesses and family friendly activities are all in walking distance. |If you are looking for an upscale hotel, then this is not your place. But if you are looking for a relaxing stay at a reasonable price with old time charm, Riverside Lodge might be worth checking into.

Quaint little vintage spot- best part of the French Broad River. This is an old motor lodge that has been updated while keeping the old feel. Small bathrooms but adequate and clean. Excellent beds and bedding. New smart tvs just installed. Loved the balcony overlooking the river and hearing the river rapids in the room. Some road noise and thin walls since its an old place. Loved building a fire in the pit by the river.
