The Residences at Mountain Lodge

$750+ A NIGHT - ONE TOWEL TO USE YOUR ENTIRE STAY - NO WAY THIS PLACE IS OPERATING PER HYATT VACATION CLUB GUIDELINES ! ( WE STAYED 7 NIGHTS - $5,000 PLUS STAY ) So, let’s dive into where this property goes a bit off the rails, and I’ll take it upon myself to help get things back in line with Hyatt Vacation Club’s towel‑replacement policies. As you can see from the little letter they quietly tuck into the rest of the paperwork, guests are allotted exactly one replacement set of towels for the entire stay. As a fully functioning adult who showers twice a day, that means by the end of Day 1, I’m already running a towel deficit. In other words, at this “3-star luxury AT $750+ A NIGHT” property, your towels get refreshed once on the house—and after that, it’s basically a long‑term relations

My first impressions were OK but there were some things that need to be addressed. The front desk employees and concierge were not informative whatsoever. Sometimes they had no clue what you were asking them. The fireplace did not work in our room and the TV had problems. Some areas of our room were kind of worn and needed cleaning. The balcony needed to be washed and cleaned as it looks like it had not been done in a while. We were there for multiple nights, and they only give you enough coffee for one day. You could purchase more if you wanted too from the front desk. For the large price we paid that was irritating.

I am an owner and have never been treated the way I was treated today! Ashley at the front desk is extremely rude - she hung up on me multiple times, I was told I can only have towels washed once and it was in a welcome packet I never received - I would of paid to wash but I have no idea how much it costs because she wants to argue with me and tell me she handed it to me but she only handed keys and a map- she then hang up on me multiple times & told me they will deliver it when they have time - this is not the Hyatt standard! She should not be in the hospitality industry.

We had a cool time—even without A/C! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Residences at Mountain Lodge. The location in the Beav is absolutely prime—mountains, nature, and just enough luxury to make you feel like you “accidentally” left your email behind. A couple heads-ups for future guests: 🏗️ There is some construction outside the property. Hyatt doesn’t control that, so unless you want to go full Bob the Builder, just treat it as background noise and move on. 🚧 There might also be some indoor renovations depending on your timing—so if you hear a drill, don’t panic. It’s not your neighbors trying to break into your minibar. 🌬️ Not all units have HVAC cooling. If A/C is important to you, call ahead and ask—unless you're looking for the authentic “sleep-with-windows-open-like-it’s-1993

We went off season....it's upscale....awesome mountains around.....it was extremely quiet...BUT...I assure you during ski season...this place and the dozens of shops will be hopping.....many of the shops are closed for the season.....your love it.....but....everything is off the rails expensive!.... a baseball men's no name hat...$52.00.....ouch!
