The Red Cliffs Lodge Zion, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Our stay at Red Cliffs Lodge in Zion has been exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out—Jofren at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional, making sure everything about our stay was seamless. The hotel itself is fantastic. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning red rock views that capture the beauty of Zion from every angle. Waking up to those dramatic cliffs and wide-open desert landscapes is something you don’t forget. Between the warm service, the comfortable accommodations, and the unbeatable scenery, this is truly a special place to stay when visiting Zion. The location is great. Walking distance to many good restaurants and grocery stores. |The room was very clean. The house keeping crew was great and friendly. Staff are friendly from concierge to onsite restaurant. Anthony was the one checked us in. He was kind and informative. When I needed to prepare for our early morning tour, Anthony helped me working with restaurant staff to get our take out breakfast ready with a very short time notice.

Pros: the location is primo. Our room was very quiet and private-feeling. The standard king rooms have couches, which I like, and they’re nicely decorated with updated furnishings. There’s good coffee in the rooms: nespresso. The outdoor pool and hot tub have a great view. Nice fire pit. While parking is $20/day, it means we didn’t pay for parking otherwise, which was very expensive all around Springdale. Cons: as others have said, the linens are sad. The sheets are 60/40 polyester/cotton, which don’t breathe well and make me so clammy at night — that feels like a cheap hotel move. Similarly, the towels are thin, small, and well-loved — they’re a faded/gray white. We got a great deal in the off season so it was all fine with me, but I would be disappointed if I’d paid peak season prices.

It’s a nice room from the outside, the more we were in it and using it the more we found was wrong. Low water pressure, hot water never actually got very hot (Luke warm at best), old grapes left in our fridge, pull out couch wasn’t dressed with sheets, no extra blankets in closet, the toilet seat fell off, the towel holder on the glass shower door fell off and in the trashcan we found a old used light switch when maintenance came to switch it out. Literally the only good things about the room was the coffee maker, the bed and the view. My husband even told the person at the front desk and she didn’t even write anything down even after telling her very specific things. Positive: Beautifully renovated with outstanding staff, top notch design, and an incredible pool facility. If a nice vibe and quality design are important, look no further. The staff were all incredibly warm and accommodating, and the location cannot be beat. Negative: My only complaint would be that pool cleaning should be done more often - Always lots of dead bugs floating and some grime buildup on the tile surrounds.
