The Ranch Motel

Marianne runs this motel and she did such a great job. I visited in January, when it was 28 degrees outside. She had me call her 30 minutes ahead of my arrival so she could turn the heat on. So I walked into a warm room! Also, I expect every motel under $100 to smell like smoke, and this one did NOT! It smelled great actually. Sorry I didn’t have cash for a tip, Marianne, I hope this great review makes up for it a little.

The owner, Marianne, was probably one of the most kind and accommodating hosts I've encountered! I ended up arriving later than expected and she was so gracious to me. The room was cozy and clean and she made sure I had everything I needed. The whole property is lovely and right next to a coffee shop! If I ever make this drive again, I will definitely be staying here.

We stayed at this motel on a recent road trip in May 2025, We stayed in motels 11 different nights on this trip. This was no doubt the best motel . First of all the proprietor Maryann was so very gracious and accommodating We called ahead about a room as it was getting late.. Maryann had the room ready with the heater on and the key in the door. The room was clean and the beds were the best on our entire trip. The grounds were clean and Maryann even had a secret garden near our room. The dog area was good and it was a quiet place to spend the night. We highly recommend this Motel if you want to stay in Salina Utah.

The owner was a super nice lady that helped me immensely when I was trying to find a hotel that could take my dogs. Super helpful and a heart of gold. The room was small but I am much happier giving my money to a private owner who is truly trying than corporations. That night they had a small fire and invited me out to sit and chat with them around the fire, Absolutely felt like home with friends.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our drive from Colorado to California. After a long day's drive, this was the perfect place to lay our heads down. The rooms were small but cozy and SUPER CLEAN, which is all you really need. The host Marianne was a 10/10 sweetheart and I will tell my friends driving out to visit me to stay here too.
