The Pointe on 30A

I’m so sad to have to leave a negative review, but I wish I had read one like this before booking. We saved and saved, researched and planned for this trip and were extremely let down by the Pointe. First, our elevator was out, and we were on the 4th floor. This was VERY inconvenient with a toddler and beach supplies and going in out multiple times a day. Our “free” bikes took my husband calling people for hours, literally hours, to figure out and find. The bathrooms smelled like mildew and mold. The 3 large tvs in the condo did nothing; they turned on but there was no way to watch anything. The construction and the lumber everywhere looks terrible. If I can add pics, I will. I really wanted to love this place because the location is great and so is the pool… that’s why I gave it 2 stars i

These buildings were evacuated because engineers deemed it structurally unsafe to human life. People ought the be aware of this. Why are these units still being rented out? The walls are cracked on the exterior and on the interior. These condos are a HUGE safety liability. The elevators are out of service as well. Do your research, this condo building was on the news for emergency evacuations. Why is this place even allowed to be reopened? There are engineers and construction workers on the balconies daily. The front office is permanently closed.

Elevators didn’t work, had structural problems and had just finish construction. Tools and wooden trim blocks on the balcony saw dust everywhere. They had basically built a new wall slash handrail. And to top it off the room was musty smelling.||It deserves zero stars absolutely horrible we got our stuff and left as soon as we got there. Everyone I spoke to walking the stairs was having an equally as bad experience.

UNSAFE! Do not stay here. I reported the building to AirBnB, the county and the engineering firm that provide a CO. This building should be condemned.

Perfect location, beautiful property with very clean condos. I've stayed here a few times and it is a to pick! The pool and hot tub are relaxing, inviting and well maintained. There is a gym on the property, as well as a restaurant that has breakfast and lunch offerings. Bikes are available for exploring the area but relaxing on the patio is a whole vibe!
