We stayed here a few nights in two separate rooms and from the outside it looks run down as if it hadn't been updated since the 1970's. That being said the rooms were huge, clean, and smelled fresh - until the linens were changed then they smelled like smoke. The air conditioner cooled the room - quickly, which was nice because it was in the 80's the week we stayed. The comforter was paper thin and provided little warmth. The bed was comfortable. The first room we stayed in had a microwave that didn't work, the next room it worked well. Both rooms had dorm sized fridges that keep our drinks cold. There is NO breakfast; only lukewarm coffee. The coffee is fine - for free. There is a WAWA across the street where you can get coffee, drinks, and snacks. Be careful crossing the road it is fou
I did not like the room. It was unacceptable. He had black mold on the wall. I tried to reach out to the front office and no one will answer the phone or will come back to the window
Real clean room and always nice and cozy and peace best place in the area feels like high end hotel for decent price
Plum Tree Inn Review While convenient for tournaments at Tuckahoe Farms and relatively cheap, this motel has major drawbacks. We were given a non-smoking room, but it reeked of heavy smoke. The Wi-Fi was completely unusable—even in room 301 and downstairs, it didn’t work. The housekeeper didn’t speak English, and the blanket was stored in a dusty, unstable spot. The bathroom ceiling had heavy mold, and the owner once tried to open our door without knocking, claiming we had called—very unsettling. Noise was constant from the bottom floors, with talking, yelling, and loud cars throughout the night. While the location is a plus, the poor cleanliness, Wi-Fi, and overall experience make it hard to recommend.
I was not expecting much but pleasantly surprised. Easy check in, room was very clean. Linens brand new and looked like updated tile and granite bathroom counters. Very nice and comfortable stay. Will definitely be returning.
