The Perch Hotel

We had the most wonderful stay at The Perch! I rarely write Google reviews, but this boutique hotel is absolutely deserving of the praise. My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary, and it was such a romantic and special experience. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The service was warm and attentive (thank you Katie!), and the Great Room was a highlight. It’s a cozy space with lots games and beautiful views. Our room had the most spectacular view; it felt like we were waking up in the clouds each morning. We can’t say enough positive things about The Perch and can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at The Perch Hotel during my first trip to the Catskills and had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, everything about the stay felt welcoming and comfortable. The room was spotless and beautifully designed. The interior had a modern feel while still being warm and relaxing, and it was clear that a lot of care went into the details. It was the kind of space that makes you feel at ease right away. The location was also incredible. Waking up in the Catskills and looking out at the scenery was one of the highlights of the trip. The staff were fantastic as well. Katie in particular was incredibly friendly and accommodating and made the whole experience even better. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and even left complimentary snacks and drinks

We arrived Sunday night in a snowstorm and The Perch was a beacon of warmth from the moment we arrived. Katie had the best recommendations for food and skiing. Our room was impeccable! We enjoyed a cozy fire and a game of big uno! The pool table is clutch. The vintage charm and nods to the Catskills and its history are tasteful and cool.. Not to mention the views and how close the hotel is to all you need! We will be back and highly recommend. Katie really made us feel at home.

So so wonderful! Highly recommended! The fall colors were amazing. The suite we stayed in is off by itself, giving it a real sense of privacy and escape from the world. The entire suite was lovely and comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The lounge area was the biggest surprise for us, though. We were there to get time to ourselves, and that's mostly how we spent it, but we participated in the free yoga class (!) on Sunday morning and never got back to our room. There was a really nice spread of yogurt and fruit and teas and coffee and danishes, there was a fire, and the set-up of the lounge was really cozy and welcoming and--more than any place I have ever stayed--it was a space that really invited people to just hang out, chat, play pool or board games, enjoy the view. The Perch is more than a hotel, it is an experience, a destination all it's own - a place to be in harmony and in love. It feels like a story more than a place. We arrived on a snow-covered night to a welcome feeling, one I used to feel a long time ago coming home. The lights, the sound, the feels were all just right. I'd never been there but it felt like it was all set up for me - for something wonderful to happen... or maybe just to relax. Music was playing in the lounge, a family had a chess game going at the bar, and another group sat talking around a gorgeous fireplace.
