Wow so excited something told me to google camp oh neh tah. Iβm so excited to see this wonderful camp is still open. I spent many summers at this camp as a child. From camper to teen leader (I think I was the reason for the teen leadership program lolz) from polar bear swimming, archery, high ropes course, chores, farming and acting sick to stay at the nurse lounge just to use the air conditioner, flushable toilet and personal shower. I may have wanted to do other things with my summers at times but mom knew best. as an adult I appreciate every 2 week summer I spent there. Its core memories, learned skills, values and hobbies (high ropes and hiking) that I still carry today! Many blessings! Itβs been well over 20 years for me. The time when the camp directors were sisters. One left to care
Sheila -- Hello and thanks for your loyalty to Camp Oh Neh Tah. I remember well your driving five hours last year to join the alumnae crew and working nonstop to get camp ready for reopening. This year we have our 2019 Camp for girls from August 15- 22, 2019. Please go to GirlsQuest.org for more information. We plan an alumnae reunion on the weekend of August 24, 2019 too!
