The Patriots' Boutique Motel

The room was very clean! The towels were soft and absorbant. Jennifer at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. She was even able to find a wall attachment for my charging cable since I didn't pack mine which saved my night. No breakfast but the motel is right next door to Bagel Shack which is better than any motel breakfast anyway with the best coffee.

My family saved all year for what was supposed to be a once in a long time trip. We are not wealthy people. This was our big family vacation. We booked months in advance to spend December 23 to 26 in San Clemente and drove all the way from South Carolina. It was a long, exhausting drive, but we were excited and hopeful.||We arrived a day early on December 22 and were able to get rooms at the Patriots Boutique Motel. Given that Southern California was about to experience heavy rainfall, we were relieved to be settled early and felt grateful at first.||That feeling disappeared the next morning.||On Tuesday, December 23, we woke up to find there was no hot water in either of our rooms. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 star rating! From check-in to check-out, we were very pleased and delighted! We'd definitely book here in the future. Everything was straightforward and simple, just how we like things. The room was cute and clean. It’s an older building but I’m impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property. There’s a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The only one issue we had was with the loud noise of motorcycles and trucks driving by from the main road however that's out of your control. We slept just fine (:

The staff is very friendly and the grounds are immaculate. The location has a bit of road noise but we could sleep right through it. We stayed here off season and the rate was good and they welcomed our pet dog with a nominal fee. We hope to stay here again in the not so distant future. Also, a very good bagel shop is located next door and we loved the coffee and bagels that were available to purchase starting at 6 AM. The sunset and moon set view from behind our room (nice sitting area) was priceless!

This is a adorable little spot to stay. It has beautiful plants everywhere with a comfortable patina about the place. Staff are friendly and welcoming, it's in a clean safe area in walking distance of the beach and pier. We normally stay in Monterey when we visit California but I think we found out new spot. Would recommend, do it.
