Sea Horse Resort

My wife and I wanted to getaway for our anniversary so we stayed here. We had a wonderful time the location was right across from the Pier with an amazing ocean view. Great location across from the restaurants on the pier. The room was clean and this hotel is pet friendly which is very convenient for us since we brought our dog with us. Staff was supportive and attentive and was able to offer great advice on where to eat for breakfast and lunch. Wife and I will be going back next year again. Has a real Hawaiian vibe as you sip your cocktail and watch the sunset over the ocean from your balcony. Highly recommended.

Positive: Location and ocean view Negative: I booked a room with a kitchenette and called to confirm (was told it had a mini kitchen). I follow a specific diet and brought my own food, but with only a mini fridge and microwave, I could only snack and had to eat out

Can't beat the location. And the hotel is really cute -- quirky but cute and the views are great---we unfortunately were inches away from our neighbors who blasted music non stop the first day and the second night had a party late into the night with shouting and very loud music -- no AC so we could drown it out. I asked to be moved and was told it was a sold out situation, then later told they had multiple cancellations due to the rainy weather....so there's that. Was also told if the music and aggressive next door neighbor acted up again to call the police. Ummm? Rooms are very, very close to each other.

We had to cancel our stay the day of because we had to take our dog to the emergency vet. When I called to cancel, the employee could not wait to get off the phone with me. When I asked her if we would get a credit for the room, she just simply said no. We have stayed there several times and it’s terrible customer service to treat repeat customers like this. The 1k bucks they took from us, and provided us no services for, will not effect us one way or the other, it’s just the point of not treating people well. I know this company will not go bankrupt, but we will never be staying there again.

I was surprised at the size of our room and how big it was when we arrived. The View looking out at the beach was amazing. Full size refrigerator and Kitchen in the room. Nice shower. Big comfy bed. Lots of storage. And amazing balcony looking out at the ocean for sunset. The staff was super nice and helpful on check in and check out.
