The Palapa RV Beach Resort

We truly enjoyed Palapa RV Resort located on the Bolivar Peninsula this RV park was the nicest on the peninsula. Steven (host) was very friendly. It's clean and so much Southern hospitality! You get a sense of community there from all the events they host! We actually got to meet the owners who were super sweet and truly care about their resort. We'd give them a 10 if it was possible.

My family and I spent a week at the Bolivar RV Resort now known as The Palapa RV Beach Resort. The camp ground was wonderful and offered several amenities. On the second floor (elevator available) was the wonderful deck pool with decorative tiki men spewing water out onto the pool. The office is located on that floor, as well as the bathrooms with showers , laundry room and Rec room. On the third floor was the serenity deck, the views of the beach are spectacular from up there. |The new owners and friendly staff definitely made us all feel at home. Always attentive to their campers needs and available when needed. |The RV Resort was always clean and we felt very safe there. |The beach is located across the highway from the resort. For the Bolivar Peninsula area, this RV park is a terrific bargain, great location. The staff is very accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and are quick to respond to any need. Beautiful park. Great amenities. WiFi worked perfectly .We’re looking forward to booking again.

Arrived for Thanksgiving weekend, I was lucky , there was a lovely well kept RV available. It was blustery, but inside the clubhouse, was warm and friendly. Thanksgiving potluck ended with community game played and moved to let’s have a soup potluck tomorrow. This was the friendliest place I’ve stayed. Thanks for making me feel welcome.

We had a great stay at The Palapa RV Beach Resort. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The RV spots are spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, offering plenty of room to relax. The pool was clean, a good size, and perfect for cooling off. While the resort is located on the opposite side of the street from the beach, it offers direct access via a private path, making it super convenient. One of the standout touches was the complimentary margarita machine for guests — a fun and thoughtful bonus. The park was peaceful with quiet, respectful neighbors, adding to the relaxing vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and chill RV beach getaway.
