Pros: price, cleanliness, beautiful bowling alley, nice rooms with great views, very helpful front desk with easy check-in and out. When all was said and done, the price was exactly what we were quoted. I was impressed with that.||Cons: Hotel is off the strip, and there is no shuttle service at all. To cross the highway cost 15 bucks and up by Uber or taxi. Very limited dining choices, especially at night. I saw people carrying pizza boxes and wondered where they got them. I found out later they were getting them from the bowling alley. ||We were there for Women's Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Orleans hosts it every year. This was our first visit to Las Vegas. I recommend staying here, especially if you have, or rent a car.
Orleans is an off strip vegas hotel that is currently going through some much needed renovations. They are marketing mobile checkin and mobile room key both of which did not work. The note said I would need to sync my reservation with my Boyd rewards card which the front desk supposed didn't my n request but nothing showed up in the app. The room b itself was comfortable but lacked refrigerator and microwave although most Vegas rooms do. At the prices published online they all should. Lack of TV channels was somewhat problematic when trying to escape the casino. The on-site movie theater and bowling alley did help but if course cost more. The hotel used to provide some coupons to use around the premises during your stay but I did not receive any this stay. I did enjoy Balliwick and Ondori
Locals casino with a New Orleans theme that's actually pretty fun. The bowling alley, movie theater, and arena make it more than just a casino. Rooms are large and affordable. The buffet is solid for the price. Great for families or people who want entertainment beyond gambling. The shuttle to the Strip is convenient. It doesn't have the glitz of the Strip but it has something the Strip doesn't — genuine, no-pressure fun.
This was the hotel I stayed in when I came to Vegas since it was near the site where I'll be helping out a client. The hotel charge a early check in fee so be aware. The check in process was easy for me and I looked the elevator to my room. When I was here they were doing some construction. My room was simple, nothing fancy and it wasn't that expensive. The bathroom is basically the price you paid for and the shower water pressure isn't the best. There a bunch of different restaurants here and they have a food court, I took advantage of them while I was here and ate at most of them. The casino promote smoking especially since there a vending machine for it so if that's not your interest then this hotel isn't for you. I didn't really like the smoke smell while staying here. There security
Rooms get refreshed once a day, tidy and subtle performance, just enough to make you feel comfortable but not skeptical that there has been anyone; very well! I did not order anything up to my room, but i would have had a chance to via a provided room-telephone - but i will rate the hotel-service in general and i'm definetely satisfied ! Well done ! Only thing i have not been so happy with is the immediate surrounding area, which does not invite for much exploring in any way. You can access a public transport close to the hotel to venture right into the las-vegas-square/strips tho, so i was able to reach/come back to the hotel without much trouble. Overall i had a pleasant stay and i can recommend the hotel for an unique playa-experience with a lot of options to choose !
