The Old Station Inn

I was on a roadtrip across Kansas and Missouri and stumbled on info about the world's largest Ball of Twine and the Station Inn so I had to take a detour! My dog and were welcomed by Pam after we settled in. Nicely air-conditioned, perfect view of the venerable ball o' twine and a good local bar and grill just down the road. Comfortable bed, nice shower, and fun spot to tell my friends about!

This was the most adorable place I have ever stayed! Pamila made sure my every need was taken care of! The bed was super comfortable! And it’s the best location for checking out the world’s largest ball of twine! Don’t miss it! If I’m ever back in Cawker City I would definitely stay here again!

I almost completely missed the “Largest Ball of Twine” because this beautifully restored gas station caught my eye! I HAD to go over to admire what had been done to this vintage gas station. My daughter and I were looking at the old gas pumps when the owner came out and told us they had converted it to an air bnb! She graciously took us in and let me snap some pictures! I CAN NOT wait to go back and stay in this darling little place!

Loved my time in Cawker City! The Old Station Inn was wonderful. Outstanding shower massage. Cuteness level is off the charts.

Cawker City is a little out of the way but well worth the trip. Old Station Inn was a quaint place to stay. Not everyone can say they slept in a gas station. Ate breakfast at Cafe next door. Delicious!
