The Old Mill Inn

Quaint charm, bespoke breakfast We were delighted when we pulled up to the bright yellow inn set against the white snow. We could hear the waterfall even though it was partially frozen. The homemade continental breakfast was fantastic. The 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Northampton is super easy and you can stop by the River Valley Co-op for a treat or provisions. We will definitely use this as a landing pad when returning to Northampton!

We stayed again at The Old Mill Inn, this time for Thanksgiving. We met up with other family members, ordered a take-away turkey dinner from a local restaurant, and had a very enjoyable dinner. The suite had everything we needed to finish preparing the meal, and Emerson made sure we had plenty of dishware and silverware. She offered for us to use the cafe for our dinner, but since our suite was more than sufficient we stayed there.||And again, the staff was great. We definitely appreciate that, especially since they are working on a holiday taking care of us. Em is new since our last stay, but she and Aunt Deb and Shannon were as pleasant and helpful as anyone could be. Mine was a three-night getaway to The Old Mill Inn. While I am familiar with the Pioneer Valley, I had not heard of this particular inn before. I am grateful to have come across it. During my time there, it was very quiet -- which is what I was hoping for. The downstairs seating area/cafe offered a place to sit, think, read, write, or simply be in the company of a pellet stove. My room was spacious and well appointed. The bed had a ridiculously comfortable mattress, and the sitting chairs (of the small winged variety) were ideal for reading. My particular room did not have a desk, but the downstairs area filled that need. As you will read on the website, it is about 15 minutes to Northampton and 25-30 minutes to Amherst. The Old Mill Inn is a beautiful inn with very comfortable rooms & and excellent staff. We stayed for three nights while in the area for a wedding. The breakfast was wonderful. And the staff is professional, polite & friendly. Our group was able to congregate for breakfast & in the evenings. The beds very comfortable & the entire inn was clean. Definitely we would stay again if in the area of MA.

I rarely leave reviews when I travel but this place deserves for everyone to know how amazing it is. My husband and I stayed here with our baby for a wedding weekend and we had the most lovely time, I was genuinely so sad to leave and now that we are home I miss it there! The staff is absolutely lovely, the place itself is beautiful and welcoming, the setting is so serene, and we walked around the town one morning and had the most lovely time seeing the farm houses and chatting to townspeople we crossed paths with. I can’t recommend this place enough, so safe and quiet and even the other guests were lovely and kind. Just a wonderful place top to bottom!
