The Oaks - Mobile And RV Park

The owner was very rude!!! We booked online through Hipcamp and it said 20 bucks a night for water electric and sewer hookups. When we got there, he said it was 55 a night and would not honor the hip camp price. We even showed it to him as that is what he advertised on there but he would not honor it. So we just left. He said he couldn't turn a profit at $20 a night, but we found a really nice lakeside Campground about 20 minutes north of there for only 18 bucks a night with electric and water hookups. He also said he would refund us the money but then he never did. Pro tip: The campground we found for $18 a night was the flat Rock Campground and it was really nice.

Wonderful family atmosphere. Dennis(owner) is very nice and friendly. Any time we have needed something, he is quick to help. He allows animals, with deposit. Very laid back. Highly recommend this mobile and RV park.

Called to check pricing and availability. They want $400+ a month, plus $300 per dog. THERE ARE 1,000’s OF OTHER RV PARKS THAT ALLOW DOGS AND DONT CHARGE FOR THEM. I’m not renting on the guys mobile homes, I’m bringing my own camper. It is outrageous.

We lived there back in 2020 and we loved it. Denis was easy to get along with. It was a quite and friendly place to live. Wish we still lived there. We lived in the back which backed up to the woods. Great place!!!!!!

This RV park is close to the lake. It has a nice park-like setting with trees and 8 acres. Mixture of RVs and mobile homes. People are friendly, would recommend. The Oaks provides a range of services including rentals, lease options, selling RVs and even towing.
