Sleepy Traveler Motel

This has become my go-to spot whenever I’m in the area. The rooms are freshly remodeled, spotless, and really comfortable. The owners are genuinely kind and make you feel like a valued guest. I also appreciate how quiet it is—the rooms are very well insulated from outside noise, so it’s always a peaceful stay. I won’t stay anywhere else.

What great place! Clean and updated by far better than some places we have stayed at double the price!! Small coffee machine in room, refrigerator and microwave. Beds are comfy too! Friendly front desk and great customer service. Very well light parking lot and felt very safe. This is a steal for what you get!! Will definitely stay here again when traveling through.

Beautifully renovated! Very clean and comfortable. Refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave, large flat-screen with cable, nice beds & pillows. Ice machine and guest laundry! Such nice owners too. Love a good motel!

Clean and modern rooms with excellent service at an incredible value. Needing only a room for the night with no need of breakfast, pool etc., I booked this property from the reviews and was a bit skeptical but the location was perfect for my trip between Chicago and Austin with prices less than the well know motel chains. I was pleasantly surprise and delighted staying at the Sleepy Travelrs Motel that had modern furnishings, 50 inch TV, modern bath with large light up mirrors and comfortable bed and pillows. Large fridge and microwave were a nice extras. Water pressure was great. Clean room and bath with nothing broken or worn out. In terms of service, about after an hour after checking out, I received a call from the manager that I had left my phone charger on the room. At that point,

We love staying here when it's Renaissance Festival season! The front desk is so nice to us and the room is always clean and cozy. It's great to be able to wind down in a safe space. The bathroom is clean, the towels feel great, and the shower is awesome. Our only concern is that the room we've stayed in didn't have a chain lock when it looked like it should have.
