The Mountain View Hotel & Cafe

Went to grab a latte after snowboarding and the service was incredible! Super super kind family operates the place and they are so friendly, welcoming, and warm-hearted. Highly recommend stopping for a drink after a day on the slopes :)

What a great place to spend the weekend. We were in Laramie for a family gathering and the Josh Allen jersey retirement. Our hosts were amazing and made sure everything was perfect for us, down to allowing us to celebrate and early Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back!

Great value for a night or 2 stay. Airbnb style rooms. Self check in with combo locks. (In house cafe was closed for a long time, but has recently opened for breakfast and lunch 1/2026). 3 other fine restaurants within walking distance. Pets allowed in some rooms. Microwave, Keurig coffee maker, a mini fridge (with small freezer) in each room. Some oatmeal, Keurig cups, bottles water provided. Bring a ceramic cup to heat water. Paper cups provided burn at the base, and eventually leak. No staff on site. No room service. Wonderful place to use as a base for hiking, ATV, and mountain biking in the snowy range mountains. Old Corral doesn't have microwave and only a half size mini fridge in the rooms, but has restaurant and gift store inside. No pets a Old Corral. Dinners are very good her

The location was perfect for wild flower hikes. The real complaint, both bed mattresses in our room needed to be replaced as they both were so used they had humps in the middle. Otherwise this was a very charming hotel. Sorry the restaurant was closed but there were others within walking distance that were very good.

Cute! Little 100+ year old hotel. I'd recommend the Indian Paintbrush Suite. Lots of room, with a separate living room. But it is on the second floor. If you were expecting room service, or other big city hotel amenities, you've come to the wrong place. Unfortunately the cafe is now closed.
