The Mountain Haven

A spacious and comfortable home with modern amenities and a great location. We enjoyed a mid-week stay in the winter and the location provides easy access to the Pittsburg snowmobile trail system without having to trailer to a lot. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, and there is ample living space for large groups to enjoy without feeling crowded. We met with the owners and they are lively, friendly people with great knowledge of the area and were extremely helpful. This is an excellent place to stay in the Pittsburg area and highly recommended for larger groups looking to stay together.

This cabin hits all the key points that you want in a stay away from home. Comfortable beds, clean, all the kitchen gadgets/cookware needed to prepare a home cooked meal. It’s close to everything Pittsburg has to offer but offers a quiet/serene setting. Snowmobile trails are right out the driveway and there is plenty of space to park all your toys.

We stayed at Mountain Haven while on a hiking vacation in the Pittsburg area. What a beautiful place! Very roomy on the main floor with a huge, well-equipped kitchen, big dining area and full bath with laundry. The front of the cabin was divided into three places where you can lounge, watch the large smart tv, quietly read or just look at the view. The downstairs bedroom had plenty of room for our clothes and had a cozy heated king bed. There were just the two of us so we didn’t need the other bedrooms both up and down. Nice deck off the front as well. Location is perfect: far enough from the main roads so very quiet but close enough for necessity shopping or dining out. I could not be happier with my stay at the Mountain Haven! Spent one week March 2021. There is still snow! The house is very beautiful, a home far from home, very spacious enough to bring family and friends and have them sleep comfortably. We are a family of 4. Log home is secluded on 20 acres. 300 yards of maintained dirt road leads to the driveway. Pictures match the home. The hosts Leigh and Judy have provided almost everything that you need to enjoy your vacation which helps tremendously. They are are also tremendous people, super friendly and have made my vacation here so amazing. They provided me with recommendations for great places to eat around the area, different activities that I can partake in, as well as just answering any questions I might have during my stay here at the

This cabin is the coziest I’ve ever stayed in! Truly a one of a kind luxury experience in Pittsburg. It is also super convenient to the trails and all of the local restaurants, while being very private and secluded.
