The Metropolitan Hotel

Stopped by for a latte and also had panini sandwiches. Great coffee and paninis, staff are very accommodating and friendly. Only a few minutes off of I94 and well worth the stop. This a a really neat renovated old hotel.

What a sweet little surprise in a small town. There were thoughtful touches everywhere. Adorbs little b&b with a coffee shop downstairs and a friendly neighborhood bar next door. ❤️

We loved this place. It is so nicely decorated for Christmas. Very comfortable and we feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Snacks and breakfast goodies always available. Very tasty sandwiches and soup in the cafe. Will definitely visit again.

The entire building is beautiful. Coffee shop amazing and the rooms are even better! Best place in town.

Great place! If you tire of the monotony of the bland hotels on the highway, but wonder if an independent, local hotel will have what you need for creature comforts, look no further! This place is a rare gem, a legit local building on Main Street has been gutted and turned into a handful of tasteful and very comfortable rooms with wonderful beds, nice shower and cool indústria chic decor. Don’t you want to sleep right downtown across the street from the grain elevator in a small dairy town (the same one with “Salem Sue” the giant Holstein cow.) took a nice walk around town, several nice bars and a couple of bakeries. Things only got better the next morning when the cafe opened with yummy coffee drinks, paninis and nice looking waffles. Though there were also lots of nice free goodi
